Tromilux lighting: Madrid Clinic

Clinic renovation in Madrid with Tromilux lighting
As part of the redevelopment of the Madrid Clinic, located on the iconic Paseo de la Castellana, we were given the task of transforming the lighting in the space, in collaboration with the design studio Alem Arquitectura. With more than 30 years of history in the healthcare sector, the clinic wanted to modernise its image and improve the patient experience in line with new market demands.
An Improved Patient Experience
One of the main objectives of the intervention was to optimise the patient experience at every stage of their visit: from the initial perception of the space from the outside, through the reception and waiting areas, to the internal circulation within the clinic. The design was conceived to provide a welcoming, functional and efficient environment.
Modernisation of Image and Materials
To strengthen the visual identity of the Clínica Madrid, the graphic image was updated, including a new logo and new signage both inside and outside the building. The careful selection of materials played a key role in this transformation, favouring surfaces that are easy to clean and resistant to wear and tear, such as Forbo's cement-effect vinyl flooring. To create a more welcoming atmosphere and convey a sense of comfort and security, wood panelling was introduced in the waiting rooms and laminate materials were used for interior signage.
Renovating Facilities and the Role of Lighting
One of the needs identified at the Madrid Clinic was to modernise the electrical and air conditioning installations to ensure greater energy efficiency and indoor air quality. As a partner in this project, Tromilux played an essential role in the design and implementation of the new lighting, eliminating previous shortcomings and providing a functional and harmonious lighting system.
Lighting plays a crucial role in the well-being of patients and the functionality of clinical areas. Tromilux has therefore developed tailor-made solutions that combine efficiency, visual comfort and aesthetics. The new lighting design has been conceived to ensure adequate lighting in all areas, from the waiting room to the consulting room, creating a balanced and pleasant environment.
Madrid Clinic Specialities
Clínica Madrid has a wide range of medical specialities, including general medicine, nursing, podiatry, allergology, ophthalmology, ENT, dentistry, cardiology, urology, gynaecology and obstetrics, dermatology, digestive system, endocrinology, neurology, psychology and psychiatry, aesthetic medicine, rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
